This green corridor project known as « la Coulée verte du Banco” spreads over almost 40 ha & has two main functions:
– To protect the canals and limit congestion downstream at the Indénié crossroads. The project also aims to sustainably solve the everlasting problem of erosion of the soils (including around the canals) which leads to a water-logging of the basins located at the level of the bay of Cocody. The objective is thus to control erosion and therefore to limit congestion at the level of the Indénié interchange.
Many solutions are implemented to protect the canals such as the installation of gabions and certain plants to maintain the embankment.
– To create a buffer zone, a green filter, with the aim of preserving the city from CO2 emissions. Nearly 10,000 trees have been planted between the entrance to Banco and the Indénié crossroads, creating a link between the city and the forest. In addition to its environmental function, the « Coulée verte du Banco » beautifies a large segment of the northern highway.

This project stretches nearly 9.5 km from the “Plateau” to “the Mosque of the Divinity”. The concept is inspired by unique and historical
sites that we display in five sequences, connected to each other via a “cord” giving homogeneity to the cornice.
4 main lines of work are developed in parallel:
– Maritime protection including the expansion and creation of beaches
– Civil engineering and utilities infrastructures including: landscaped walls, nearly 90,000 m2 of paths for pedestrians and cyclists, more
than 600 public benches, dedicated spaces for workouts & sports, gathering spots etc.
– Landscaping and Green Spaces over 22 ha including nearly 4,000 trees and palm trees as well as 350,000 shrubs, ground covers and
other plants adapted to the seaside.
– Several architectural, artistic and design elements created to allow the addition of shops, toilets as well as sports and other
recreational features.

Planting of 55,000 shrubs and of 7,000 m2 of grass along the new 5 km road creating a total planted surface of 17,000 m2.
The plantations take place on a draining complex avoiding infiltration and deterioration of the asphalt bordering the planted areas

Cercis works to build, create & strengthen national links through the road, in particular between urban areas and rural areas covering the cities of: Akoudzin, Ananguie, Akoupé, Affery, Adzope (Flag/ Drapeau district).

Planting, at a regular pace, of the central reservation on a segment of more than 2.5 km extending from the Akwaba crossroads to the Abidjan international airport with nearly 20,000 shrubs and more than 500 palms & trees planted on a total area of 20,000 m2.
All the plantations are enhanced by landscaped walls painted by students from the Fine Arts School of Abidjan on the theme of travel.

Realization of outdoor plots, car parks, development of dry and wet networks, creation of green spaces.

Creation of two squares along the new road offering a planted promenade to visitors. Implementing a landscape noise barrier over an 800m path. More than 800 trees have been planted on the site, 60,000 shrubs and 3 ha of lawn.

The challenge of this project was to transport and plant in a record time of 6 months nearly 500,000 shrubs and 1,200 trees skillfully arranged on 86 ha around the Gulf of Qatari Diar in Tangier. An automated watering system was installed by CERCIS to ensure the watering of the 86 ha planted surface thanks to a 300,000 ml drip irrigation system placed on the entire site.

Exterior development of the office building including: the development of roads and various networks, the creation of green spaces, recreational areas and a water basin.

Rehabilitation of the school’s outdoor facilities including roads, car parks, gardens and sports’ fields.
