Airport
Erbil : The rebirth of an airport

Developing the outdoor spaces at the ERBIL airport (Iraqi Kurdistan).
The project is conducted within different levels:
– Andalusian-inspired oriental garden with fountains, water jets, aromatic plants and automated watering system
– Improvement of the interior lanes of the airport including the creation of colored sidewalks and the planting of large tree subjects
imported from Italy as well as the installation of an automated watering system
– Development of the “VIP” area where century-old olive trees are planted in the midst of rose beds.

A beautified seaside

Realization of a planted promenade by the ocean on a 7 km road. The project includes soil placement, the installation of a watering system and the planting of several thousand trees (including coconut trees) as well as several hundred thousand shrubs and ground covers. More than 10 ha of spray-resistant lawns have been planted across the project.

Asserting the splendor of Abidjan

Development of several landscaping works on over 14 km including vegetated beds (in central reservations and near the tracks) as well as several dozen planters starting from the Place de la République (Plateau) and ending at the entrance of the Riviera district. The project contributes to a general embellishment of the main roads of Abidjan and offers a reorganization of parking lots in several areas of the project, including the Place de la République, the Saint Jean district, etc.
Several footpaths and paved sidewalks were made as part of this operation. A total of 2,600 trees and palms have been planted as well as more than 250,000 shrubs

Construction of a group of 8 basements & R-4 dwellings including: Earthworks, Foundations, Drainage and Structural Works.
The overall interior building surface extends to more than 18,000 m2 and the parking area to 3,900 m2. 6,400 m3 of concrete and 650 tons of steel were used on this operation.

Realization of a landing point port in Abidjan known as « Locodjoro ». The project includes coastal protection, the creation of green spaces, the construction of buildings, of outdoor facilities and parking lots.

The Oberoi Marrakech hotel is a 5-star hotel, nestled in the middle of orange orchards and centuries-old olive trees. CERCIS carried out all of the outdoor facilities there, from the underground networks (with nearly 18 km of networks laid) to the superb landscaped gardens (100,000 trees and shrubs planted). CERCIS also created a 5,000 m2 lake around the spa area. All of these structures are enhanced by traditional architecture inspired by old Moroccan palaces.

CERCIS participated in the 2 large phases of the works of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University. The work carried out by CERCIS during the first phase included: earthworks and placement of 7,500 m3 of screened topsoil, installation of an underground irrigation system on over 14 ha with more than 60,000 ml drip irrigation capacity, 14,000 m2 of lawn planted as well as 2,100 olive trees.
As part of the second phase: CERCIS laid more than 25,000 m2 of porphyry paving from local quarries and also carried out among other works; asphalt access roads and parking lots, 2 multi-sports pitches and 2 synthetic turf mini-soccer pitches.

Located between the old Medina and the cosmopolitan district of Gueliz « Ville Nouvelle », the IV Seasons Marrakech is composed of 16 hectares of Moorish gardens and swimming pools.
CERCIS developed all of the hotel’s interior pathways: deactivated concrete, stabilized sand, paving etc. and laid all the mineral coatings on: low walls, swimming pools and fountains. CERCIS also built several fountains, water jets and planted the hotel gardens.

“Hilton forest”. Its Andalusian garden of 9 hectares planted with thousands of roses makes this 5-star luxury hotel an urban oasis with
an international reputation. Cercis built the asphalt roads (6,500 m2), the deactivated concrete paths, the fountains and water systems
as well as the gardens.
